Spring is in the Air! (or at least the calendar)
Those few lovely days of warm weather have been tempting many of you out of the house and into the garden - but don't dessert your crafting yet! There are still plenty of cool days ahead, and now is the perfect time to organize your stash. We're excited about the new things going on around here:

The Fine Needle's New Blog
Stacy will still maintain her blog, Stash of Stacy, but now there is a Fine Needle only blog that will feature guest bloggers (Gracie recently posted about her experience at the Knitting and Spinning Weekend Getaway), and interviews with you about your projects. Be sure to check out Fine Needle Points and follow it!

April has Stacy travelling to warmer climes for Stitches South in Atlanta, Georgia. The shop will be CLOSED April 22-24, 2009 while she is away. The Wednesday Knitting Group (Fiber Frenzy Ladies) will still meet - at "The Emporium" on the corner of Green Street and Pearl Street in Snow Hill. Call Stacy for details before April 17.

The 2009 Nassawago Quilt Show class information is up on its very own website. Check out teacher information, as well as register for classes online! Quilt entry forms will be available soon. Learn more...

The Fine Needle is located in historic Snow Hill, Maryland. We specialize in providing tools, materials, and inspiration to feed crafty and creative minds.

If you're a quilter or love to sew with 100% cotton fabrics, you'll find a great assortment of Asian prints, batiks, 1930's reproduction fabrics, novelty prints, and of course basics to round out your stash. You'll be inspired by our selection of books and patterns, and of course you will find the essential notions - like rulers, scissors, threads, and gadgets - to make your creative process easier.

If you're a knitter or crocheter, you'll find a plethora of fibers. Come touch the silky lightness of Kollage Yarn's Creamy yarn made from milk, or the scrumptious goodness of FibraNatura (Universal) Yarn's Mermaid wool and cotton blend. From cashmere, silk, wool, and alpaca, to cotton, linen, and hemp - you'll find the right yarn to create your next project. Of course there are plenty of patterns and books to get you started, and no knit shop would be complete without an assortment of needles and knitting notions. Sock knitters won't be disappointed in our selection of sock yarns - from wools to cottons!

We are currently working on clearing out our stock of rubber stamps and scrapbooking supplies. We will continue to carry a limited number of stamps and tools (including the fabulous Copic Sketch markers). Check out our sale page to see what is on sale this month.
