Buggy Barn Quilt

Buggy Barn Flower quilt detail Learn a fun technique where precision is thrown out the window! Choose from star or flower pattern and turn a stack of fat quarters into a set of unique and fun quilt blocks. A few simple cuts, a little shuffling, and you transform the stack into star (or flower) blocks. Simple enough for beginners (should know the basics of quilting), but interesting enough for those more advanced. Using 25-30 fat quarters - it's a great project for doing some stash busting!

What you'll need to bring to class:

  • Sewing machine in good working order, with at least 2 full bobbins
  • Basic quilting/sewing kit, including rotary cutter (60mm size a plus!), 24" ruler, and mat
  • Buggy Barn book (which title depends on which quilt)
  • Fat quarters (25-30, depending on quilt size), washed and pressed. Washing is crucial if using homespuns!
  • Optional border fabric and backing fabrics are needed to complete quilt, but not neccessary for class.
Currently scheduled:
  • Time: t.b.a.
  • Date: please call for schedule
  • Cost: $45, includes book. Fat quarters and other fabric are needed for quilt top.
