Free Form Knitting

Learn to create stunning works of art from bits of yarn! Create basic shapes, like squares, rectangles, and triangles, and learn to arrange and assemble the pieces. Different, yet coordinating yarns are used to give this project depth and interest. Kits are available in a range of colors, costing between $15-$20.

This class is for the advanced beginner and beyond. A basic knowledge of knitting techniques is required: casting on, knit & purl stitches, basic increasing and decreasing, and binding off. Very basic crochet knowledge is helpful, but not required.

What you'll need to bring to class:

• Paper and pencil for notes
• Knitting needles - bring sizes US 6, 7 , & 8. Straight or circular is fine. If you don't have all those sizes, bring what you have.
• Crochet hooks - bring a US F, G, H, or I.
• Basic knitting kit
• Free Form Kit (available at The Fine Needle) - can be purchased on class day.

• Date: Wednesdays, April 16th and 23rd
• Cost: $15. You will need a Free Form Kit.
